Our story

Rufi Asian Market began in July 2025 with a simple idea: bring the everyday tastes of Asia a little closer to home for people living in the UAE.

Our store is in Al Nahda, and it was opened to serve the neighbours around us. It is a place for quick errands and for special cravings: a pack of noodles for tonight's dinner, a sauce for a recipe you have been wanting to try, or a small treat for someone you like.

What you will find

Our shelves are built around the kitchens of Japan, Korea and Thailand. You will find instant noodles and ramen, sauces and curry pastes, seaweed snacks, sweets, and drinks such as iced teas, ades and coffee.

Alongside the food, we keep a corner for the playful side of Asian culture: stickers and stationery, and collectible figures and blind boxes from brands such as Pop Mart, Sonny Angel and SMISKI.

More than one location

Al Nahda is our home, but not our only spot. You can also find our frozen and dry products at Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah, so neighbours there can shop with us too.
